Thank you for using NeuroTools! We value your privacy. This policy outlines how we handle information when you use our app.

Information you create or interact with in NeuroTools (like your inputs, tasks, settings, and results from AI features) is primarily stored locally in your web browser's storage on your own device.
This data remains in your browser unless you clear your browser's data. We do not store this primary content data on our servers long-term.

Some NeuroTools features use Google's Gemini AI service. To make these work, we send the relevant input from the app to the Google Gemini API.
Importantly, we do not send your personal information (if you have an account) along with these requests to Google.
You can review Google's API data policies for more information on how they handle data sent to them.

Optional Accounts: Creating an account is optional. If you do, we store basic account details (like your email and a securely hashed password) on our servers (using Neon.tech). Your login status is managed using a cookie stored in your browser.
Payment Information (via Polar.sh): If you purchase a subscription or paid feature, our payment processor, Polar.sh (acting as the merchant of record), will collect the necessary payment details (like credit card information). NeuroTools does not directly store your full payment card details on our servers. We receive confirmation of payment and related subscription information from Polar.sh to manage your account status.
Technical Request Details: When you use features that interact with our servers (especially AI features), we log necessary technical metadata. This includes general information about the request (like usage details, IP address, and browser type) for security, operational needs, and service improvement.
Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous usage statistics to understand how the app is used. This service does not use cookies.

Data stored in your browser is controlled by you.
Technical metadata and account/subscription information stored on our servers are kept only as long as necessary for operational purposes, security, or while your account is active.
We use standard security measures like HTTPS encryption. Our service is hosted by Vercel.
