Thanks for using NeuroTools (the "App"). By accessing or using our App, you agree to follow these simple terms.

1. Our Service

NeuroTools provides web-based tools designed to help with various tasks. Some features use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology provided by Google Gemini.

2. Using NeuroTools

  • Accounts: Creating an account is optional for many features. If you do create one, you're responsible for keeping your login details confidential. You can delete your account in your account settings.
  • Your Responsibility: Please use NeuroTools responsibly and lawfully. Don't misuse the service (e.g., try to disrupt it, use it for illegal purposes, or generate harmful/inappropriate content).
  • Local Storage: As noted in our Privacy Policy, much of the data you interact with is stored locally in your browser.

3. AI Features

  • AI Output: While we hope the AI features are helpful, the output is generated by AI (Google Gemini) and may sometimes contain errors or inaccuracies. It might not be complete or up-to-date.
  • Not Professional Advice: NeuroTools, including its AI features, is not a substitute for professional advice. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, mental health, or other critical decisions. Always consult a qualified professional for such matters. Use the information provided by the AI responsibly and verify it if necessary.

4. Paid Features & Payments

  • Some features may require payment (e.g., a subscription).
  • All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Polar.sh (acting as the merchant of record).
  • By making a purchase, you agree to Polar.sh's terms and conditions regarding payments, subscriptions, and cancellations. NeuroTools does not handle or store your full payment card details.

5. Intellectual Property

  • We own the NeuroTools App itself, including the design, branding, and interface.
  • You are responsible for the inputs you provide to the App and how you use any outputs generated.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • NeuroTools is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do our best, but we can't guarantee it will always be perfect, available, or error-free.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeuroTools (and its owner/developer) will not be liable for any damages or losses arising from your use or inability to use the App.

7. Termination

  • You can stop using NeuroTools at any time (and delete your account as mentioned above).
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these terms or misuse the service.

8. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these terms occasionally. We'll change the "Effective Date" at the top when we do. Continuing to use the App after changes means you accept the new terms.
